Vintage 1930's Czech necklace featuring bright orange and green diamanté stones set into a bronze coloured flower design. This necklace is a typical piece of the Czechoslovakia in the 1930's indicated by the brightly coloured stones and ornate settings on the front and back of the necklace.
Bohemia played an important role in costume jewellery. Bohemian costume jewellers pioneered cut-glass imitation gemstones and pearls. Bohemia gemstones where such good quality they rivalled beads produced in Venice during the 1920s.
MEASUREMENTS
The necklace measures 42cm / 16.5" in length, the three central parts of the necklace measure 7.7cm in length, 2.3cm in height and 1.3cm in width.
CONDITION
The necklace is in excellent vintage condition.
